Major League Soccer released its 2014 regular season schedule today. The San Jose Earthquakes start their season at home on Sunday, March 9, against the Colorado Rapids.

The San Jose Earthquakes' 2014 schedule was announced by Major League Soccer today. The Quakes open their season on Sunday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. against the Colorado Rapids. Ten of San Jose's 34 regular season games will be televised on national television, including 5 games on the NBC Sports Network.

Highlights of the 2014 schedule include home games at Stanford Stadium and the San Francisco 49ers' new home, Levi's Stadium. The Quakes will play at Stanford for the fourth-consecutive year when they host the LA Galaxy on Saturday, June 28. The match at Levi's Stadium will be against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday, August 2.

The Earthquakes schedule is home-heavy in the first half of the season as has been the case in recent years. San Jose plays 7 of its last 10 games on the road.
