Quakes wind up preseason with win over Timbers

In their last preseason match of 2008, the Quakes overcame a rare Portland snowstorm to defeat the Timbers, 2-1, off goals from Kei Kamara and Shea Salinas.

(Speaking of which, the Timbers also report their signing of former Japan international Takayuki Suzuki, a forward who was on trial with the Quakes earlier this year.)
