Trade winds blowing

By Jeff Carlisle · May 20, 2008

Apparently the Quakes are set to do a deal with Western Conference team that will net them two players for the price of one. An announcement is expected some time this afternoon. The moment I hear more I’ll pass it along.

oh good, send one average to good player away for two really average players…

with the upheaval in Dallas - could it be Abe Thompson and another player? Or Dominic Oduro? Or … if it is with our old pals in Houston - could it be Craig Waibel and Chris Wondolowski who both have been firmly planted on the bench since the first game of the season?

Snapadocious. How exciting. Waibel and Wondo would be awesome… Though I love Wondo and he deserves a chance, I don’t think the Quakes have time for that at this point. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens…

I really hope its with Houston, as I want some more old players back =]. Waibel would be a really good pickup, he’s my favorite Quakes defender of all time (I still have a poster of him on my wall in my room). Wondo would be a great pickup as well, I like his play and his father still lives here in the Bay Area.

Whoever we pick up, GO QUAKES!
