After an improved performance on the weekend, one which head coach Frank Yallop called entertaining for the fans, the San Jose Earthquakes returned to the training field with an eye forward to the visit of the MLS Cup champion Colorado Rapids. The calendar still read January, but the weather was more suited to June at the Nutrilite Training Facility in San Jose for the Earthquakes first training session of the 2011 MLS season. Quakes looking to extend Yallop’s contract
Multiple sources have confirmed to CLS that the San Jose Earthquakes are in talks with head coach Frank Yallop to extend his contract, and that the basic details have been agreed upon.
