As the United States Men’s National Team Under-23 squad’s ten day training camp came to a close earlier this week, the team capped of their time in Germany with a pair of friendlies against two Bundesliga reserve sides. In what many outside of San Jose found surprising, Earthquakes striker Chris Wondolowski was named to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster for next month’s international friendly with Spain and the CONCACAF regional championship, the Gold Cup.
