Since this is the first year of what we hope will be many of the Center Line Soccer Supporters' Club, we wanted to make it a memorable one, and thanks to photographer John Todd, goalkeeper Joe Cannon, and the San Jose Earthquakes, we think we've managed to do just that. The image above is the rough design of the 2009 CLS Supporters' Club card.
It's a great shot, isn't it? It was captured at the Earthquakes' 3-2 victory over the Galaxy last year. We probably should have shown you this already, but don't worry — there's still time to join up and help Center Line Soccer provide you with the best coverage anywhere of Bay Area professional soccer, while at the same time giving you access to discounts at bars, restaurants, and retailers throughout the area soccer community. It only costs $20, and the card can pay for itself in just a few uses.
CLS Supporters' Club members will be able to take advantage of all the offers you see here, but we'd like to point out a couple in particular. The Earthquakes have been very generous in offering discounted sideline view seats to both home games so far and there are more ticket discounts to come. The CLS Supporters' Club card will also get you into a special Chalk Talk with the Earthquakes' coaching staff, and we are working on additional benefits with the team as well.
Your support is what keeps CLS in business, so please consider signing up now if you haven't already. Cards will be shipped in early April and will be good through the end of March, 2010.
Finally, thanks to Joe Cannon and the Earthquakes, along with centerlinesoccer.com and isiphotos.net photographer John Todd, for the use of the image you see above.
