Many of the biggest names from American soccer's recent past were in attendance as Brandi Chastain, World Cup and Olympic gold medal winner with the U.S. women's national team, celebrated her retirement from professional soccer with a star-studded testimonial match on Saturday night at Buck Shaw Stadium. Among those donning uniforms emblazoned with the words "ReachUP!," the name of a new foundation Chastain founded with Dr. Joan Orloff to benefit young girls, were Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Tisha Venturini, Joy Fawcett, Tiffeny Milbrett, Aly Wagner, Eric Wynalda, Marcelo Balboa, Tab Ramos, Giovanni Savarese, Chris Armas, and celebrities such as former 49er Brent Jones, former Red Sox and A's star Nomar Garciaparra, ski legend Bode Miller, and even actors such as David Zayas of "Dexter" and Judy Reyes of "Scrubs."
