Well look at that — another early afternoon game for the Earthquakes this weekend, this time against the Phildelphia Union at beautiful PPL Park in Chester, PA. With the game not on local television, supporters will be congregating at watering holes all over the Bay Area to watch whether the Quakes can reverse a slide that has seen them drop two matches in a row in very ugly fashion. Head coach Frank Yallop promises some changes — again! — in the starting line-up to face the Union, as well as having to bring in a new player to replace the injured Simon Dawkins. Has everyone out there in Quakes land practiced pronouncing “Ampaipitakwong?”
