David Bingham didn’t even see the ball go into the goal on his 95-yard wonder strike against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night. Having the hit the ball much harder than he wanted to, the San Jose Earthquakes rookie goalkeeper turned away and retreated back into position. Only the roar from the crowd and the attention from his teammates clued him in that he had just scored the longest goal in Earthquakes franchise history. Hard to believe, the video never lies.
