The San Jose Earthquakes defeated West Bromwich Albion by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday night at Buck Shaw Stadium. Goals from David Bingham and Khari Stephenson paced the Quakes to victory over their Barclays Premier League opponent. The tally from San Jose goalkeeper Bingham marked just the fourth time in MLS history that a 'keeper has scored a goal.
The Earthquakes return to league play this weekend as they head to Columbus to face the Crew at Crew Stadium on Saturday, July 16. The match is set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. PT and will air live on Comcast SportsNet Plus, 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
