You win some, you lose some: so sums up the San Jose Earthquakes week. A Wednesday home victory over FC Dallas kept going the team’s unbeaten streak at Buck Shaw Stadium, but a Sunday loss at the Vancouver Whitecaps prevented the team from extending their lead in the race for the Supporters’ Shield. Still, going into the All-Star break, the Earthquakes are riding high and have to like their chances of making a run at the postseason.
