San Jose Earthquakes join in Soccer Walking America

Jared Montz, former pro soccer player and founder of OnlineSoccerAcademy.com (OSA), is Soccer Walking America. Soccer Walking America is a 45-day, 15 city video series tour to fight malaria and encourage soccer players worldwide to juggle to save lives in the OSA World Juggle-a-thon on April 25, 2013, World Malaria Day.

On a recent sunny spring morning, former MLS player Jared Montz swung through the Bay Area as part of his 45-day, 15 city tour of the United States to raise awareness for World Malaria Day. Montz wants to encourage all soccer fans to join in the fight to combat malaria by joining him on April 25 in a world-wide soccer ball juggling event to raise money to buy mosquito nets for impoverished people living in affected areas.

Along his way through the Bay, Montz stopped by Buck Shaw Stadium and got in some Soccer Walking with many of the San Jose Earthquakes. He was there to lobby them and others to participate in the OSA World Juggle-a-thon on April 25, World Malaria Day. For videos from all Montz's stops on his Soccer Walking America tour, be sure to check out youtube.
