SuperDraft selection Chimdum Mez was not signed by the San Jose Earthquakes

Selected in the fourth round, #66 overall, in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, Sacramento native Chimdum Mez announced on Twitter that he has not signed with the San Jose Earthquakes. MLS SuperDraft third round selection, goalkeeper Keasel Broome, is still training with the team and is line to become the Quakes third goalkeeper behind David Bingham and Bryan Meredith if he is signed.
