From MLSsoccer.com: Jurgen Klinsmann has named a veteran 23-man roster, including San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski, in search of a second consecutive Gold Cup title. If the USMT does well, Wondo will be absent for most of July - including the ICC games against Club America and Manchester United.

The roster includes 17 players from the 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. Ten players from this group have been a part of USA teams that have won a Gold Cup in the past, including six from the squad that won in 2013. In total, this U.S. team averages 30.5 international caps.

The USMNT are drawn in Group A of the Gold Cup alongside Panama, Haiti, and Honduras. Their first match will take place at Toyota Stadium (Frisco, TX) on July7, the second versus Haiti at the Gillette Stadium (Foxboro, MA) and closing group play against Panama on July 13 at Sporting Park (Kansas City, KS). The tournament final will take place July 28th in Philadelphia.
