Well, there goes the starting line-up just when it was starting to work. On an optimistic note this will provide a test for squad depth as well as team morale, which has to be high riding the current four game winning streak.

San Jose Earthquakes midfielders Cordell Cato, Anibal Godoy and Sanna Nyassi have been called to international duty, representing Trinidad and Tobago, Panama and The Gambia, respectively.

It should be noted that over the water there will be no games impacted in the English Premier League by Euro 2016 qualifiers or international friendlies.

Cato, 23, will suit up for Trinidad and Tobago in their friendly against Mexico on Friday, Sept. 4 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The match kicks of at 7:00 p.m. PT. Cato has earned 12 caps for T&T, scoring two goals. For the Quakes in 2015, Cato has appeared in 21 matches (13 starts), tallying three goals and two assists.

Godoy, 25, will join the Panamanian National Team for friendlies against Uruguay on Sept. 4 and Venezuela on Sept. 8. Godoy has earned 54 caps with Panama since 2010, including appearances in the 2011, 2013 and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cups. He has started three matches for San Jose since signing on Aug. 6, scoring one goal.

Nyassi, 26, will represent The Gambia in their African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Cameroon on Sept. 6. He has made 11 appearances for The Gambia since 2010, scoring one goal. This season for the Earthquakes, Nyassi has made 22 appearances (18 starts), recording two goals and two assists.
