Portland, Seattle, & Vancouver revel in their Cascadia Cup, & Seattle constantly tries to "meh" the significance of the Heritage Cup.  But there's definitely a different buzz in the air & tension on the pitch when the Quakes play the Timbers, and it's building into a quality back-&-forth series of games.  Timbers fans still hurt over Ultra-invovled incidence of violence years ago, & rightfully so.  Hopefully as the quality of matches between Portland & San Jose continues to improve we'll all be able to enjoy our West Coast rivalry.

Though all the Pacific Northwest probably can't wait for Sacramento to enter MLS to distract our attention with the Hella Cup.
