Aftershock: We Didn't Start The Fire (Or Stop Them)

It was a damp squib of a game. Probably best to get it over with via a short episode. Brief news mentions and an FCD preview as well. (Season 2, Episode 32)

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The San Jose Earthquakes, with their 1-0 loss to the Chicago Fire, are now 53 days without a win and 316 days without a win on the road. Prospects for improvement seem far in the distance, however, as yet another member of the center-back depth chart (this time, Fatai Alashe) picked up a yellow card accumulation suspension and a head injury to boot. This episode reviews that game and previews the home clash against Western Conference titans FC Dallas coming up this Friday.

"The Aftershock," the only media podcast dedicated to the San Jose Earthquakes, is hosted by Colin Etnire and is in its second season. You can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, or Google Play.
