Thursday was odd, the San Jose Earthquakes season going on a 30-day (minimum) hiatus along with MLS and the rest of the the North American sports world.
Now what? That’s a good question.
Here at Center Line Soccer, there is a lot of uncertainty due to the coronavirus, but there’s one certainty: We’re still here.
Here’s what we plan to do while soccer is dark:
- Keep writing regularly
- Chatting in the comments with you and interacting on social media
What kind of content will there be? There will be some soccer stuff, obviously, but we’ll probably mix in some other things, too. It will get creative. It might get kind of weird. Let’s do this!
Above all, the aim is to make Center Line Soccer a destination to help you weather the disruption in our daily lives. One of the cornerstone goals of this website is to build a virtual community — now is the best time to really rev things up build this community.
In that vein, if you have ideas for what you want to see, let’s hear it. Can’t guarantee every single suggestion will be actionable, but probably many will! Sometimes readers have the best ideas.
What do you think? What do you want to see on this site for the next month-plus? Let’s chat in the comments below.
