On Monday MLS did a re-airing of the arguable “greatest game” in MLS history, when the San Jose Earthquakes came from a 4-0 aggregate deficit to beat bitter rivals LA Galaxy in the 2003 playoffs, and they just can’t get enough of that 2003 Quakes team, as another game from that season is being aired on Wednesday.
The 2003 MLS Cup Final between San Jose and the Chicago Fire, which took place in Carson, Calif., will be streamed by MLS and the Quakes at 5 pm PT on Wednesday.
If you’re not familiar with the game, here’s a good teaser of what’s to come:
The highest-scoring @MLS Cup in league history.

A brace for @landondonovan.
Another trophy for San Jose.
See you tonight. pic.twitter.com/DmoOsE8sqc
Needless to say, this is another one of the legion games in MLS history, and it features the Earthquakes semi-dynasty of an earlier era in league history, one we don’t get to see very often.
You can watch this stream starting at 5 pm Wednesday or anytime after on demand.
I’ll be catching the game as well, let’s chat about it in the comments if you’re so inclined!
