Vote: Best San Jose Earthquakes jersey, semifinal round

Which look was tops from the first decade?

Clash V Metrostars

We’ve reached the semifinals of the San Jose Earthquakes (and yes, also San Jose Clash) best jersey bracket tournament. I tried to pick the top two vote getters from the earliest two periods of the MLS club’s history, but in the first one there were two jerseys that tied at No. 2, so we have five looks overall to vote on.

The first three jerseys are from the Clash days, the very slick hoops designs of 1997 and 1998 of a couple different colors. All good looks, I get why they progressed to this round.

The next two come after the rebrand to the Earthquakes, the first being the first primary after the name change, one I dubbed the “sweater vest,” and the other the primary I most associate with the first decade of the Quakes.

Get reacquainted with these jerseys, then vote for the best at the bottom and be on the lookout for the second semifinal in our Best Quakes Jersey bracket competition.
