Another month of the 2021 MLS season is in the books, and it’s time to take stock and give one San Jose Earthquakes player the top honor for what just happened. In other words, it’s Player of the Month time!
The Quakes played six games in May, and now it’s time for you to vote on which player was tops. Here’s a refresher of what happened in May for the team:
- May 1: 4-1 win over D.C. United (goals by Chofís Lopez, Cade Cowell and Jackson Yueill x2)
- May 7: 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake (goals by Chris Wondolowski x2)
- May 12: 1-0 loss against Seattle Sounders
- May 15: 2-0 loss against Portland Timbers
- May 22: 3-1 loss against Sporting Kansas City (goal by Chofís)
- May 29: 1-0 loss against LA Galaxy
As always, every player who played any competitive minutes in May for the Earthquakes is in the running for Player of the Month. Who gets your vote and why? Be sure to cast your ballot and share your selection below in the comments!
