Hack-a-back! Clarence Goodson Twitter account hacked

+

It started innocently enough Thursday morning, the same time that he was scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery for a herniated disc, when Clarence Goodson's Twitter account posted a video by $tainGang. It certainly didn't seem to be music of Clay's taste, but who knows what type of anesthesia he was on. But then the tweets came out fast and furious, each one definitely the work of pranksters and not the San Jose Earthquakes center back. Goodson had been hacked! In between the crude and rude tweets was one that did poke fun at FIFA, which some of Clarence's regular followers found funny. The Quakes worked feverishly behind the scenes to end the hack. Even Clay's wife implored followers to disregard the transgressions. Hopefully the big man is back on his feet soon and can restore normalcy on social media. We need you, Clay!

Welcome Injury News Before FC Dallas

A back line that was down to zero true center backs and just two players with any experience at all at the position has all of a sudden been dramatically restocked with the return of Victor Bernardez and Andres Imperiale. That means a likely back line, from right to left, of Marvell Wynne, Bernardez, Imperiale, and Shaun Franics, who will be tasked with reigning in MLS's top team that is coming off a 4-0 shellacking of Orlando City.

San Jose Earthquakes defender Ty Harden named to MLS Team of the Week

After stepping in for injured center back Paulo Renato, veteran Ty Harden had a day to remember. Former San Jose Earthquakes U-23 defender Ramon Martin del Campo released from LA Galaxy camp

+

Remember Ramon Martin del Campo, the sure-fire center back prospect from U.C. Davis that the San Jose Earthquakes seemed set to make the fourth overall pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. Well, he went undrafted, and then tried to hook up with the LA Galaxy.

But it looks like even they will pass on the former U.S. U-23 international, as RMDC was released from training camp this week. According to LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano, Martin del Campo may be on his way to Costa Rica in search of a team.
